A Bundle of Energy
At first glance, 5-year-old Tyler is just another energetic, outgoing little boy. Walking into CDTC for his appointment, he’s all smiles and excited to have gotten out of school early to have his picture taken. Meeting with his Care Coordinator Sasha in the hallway, he’s quick to point out the details he remembers from their last meeting months ago. What snacks she offered; what he had to drink; what Mom asked for. Not a single detail escapes his impressively, sharp mind.

Tony is a vibrant and intelligent 18 year old teenager who has been coming to Children’s Diagnostic & Treatment Center since he was just 10 days old. Tony was born with Cerebral Palsy and also suffers from hearing loss. Continue reading
Nick is a 24 year old young man who is a true success story! He began his care at CDTC at age 8 and participated in an innovative global study through our Research Program because he wanted to help others. Layla’s family is very grateful for CDTC’s Early Steps program and the positive impact it has had on their daughter’s development over the past 6 months. Layla Jean was born at only 29 weeks. During her 94 day NICU stay she endured countless medical procedures, including the insertion of chest tubes to repair collapsed lungs, five blood transfusions and open heart surgery. Continue reading
