28th Annual Basket Brigade

Join us for the 28th Annual Thanksgiving Basket Brigade

Sunday, November 22, 2020 at 8:30 am

With your help we will provide more than 1,300 families in need with a Thanksgiving meal.

This year, volunteers can only register to deliver meal baskets. Delivery volunteers will NOT park or leave their vehicles.

  • The week of the event you will receive an email confirming your assignment, instructions and arrival time. Please do not arrive earlier than your assigned time.
  • Volunteers will be required to complete a brief health screening upon arrival and wear a mask at ALL times. Please bring your own mask as we continue to conserve our PPE.
  • If you are experiencing any symptoms related to COVID-19 or have been exposed to someone with COVID-19 please stay home.

Students Service Hours

Students can earn 3 services hours for delivering baskets with their family or another adult. Please provide student names during registration and a form will be emailed to you after Thanksgiving.

Back to School

Help a child with special needs get ready for a great school year!

CDTC’s Annual Back to School Drive kicks off in July. We need your help filling backpacks for more than 800 boys and girls!

You can help by starting a collection at work, school or any small businesses you frequentOr simply purchase a few supplies at one of the awesome sales and drop them off.

Tips for collecting during COVID:

  • Co-workers are working remotely or your group no longer meets in person, use money apps or the mail to collect cash donations and assign one person to shop.
  • Worried about shopping in the store or can’t get to CDTC to drop off donations, shop online and have the items shipped directly to CDTC. Mark them Attn: Back to School.
