When Should My Child Start Seeing a Dentist?
We recommend your child’s first dental visit should come when their first tooth appears.
Baby teeth play an important role in your child’s development, from chewing to talking. Tooth decay begins almost immediately. Seeing a dentist can help your child develop good oral healthcare habits and keep their smile bright.
Caring for Special Needs
Children with special needs can have unique oral health issues due to their condition, medications or diet. Our team is specially trained and equipped to accommodate your child’s needs.
Behavior management is part of our practice to provide the best dental care without causing anxiety or trauma.
What To Expect at Your Child’s First Visits
All of your appointments are designed with plenty of time for staff to be patient with your child and meet their needs.
The first visits always begin with “Show, Tell & Do” to help you and your child understand what everything is and what we will be doing. The process is completed using as many visits as necessary to ensure your son or daughter feels comfortable in the dental chair.
What Insurance Do You Accept?
CDTC accepts most insurance and Medicaid plans. Inquire when you call for an appointment.
