Waterway Soiree

The Waterway Soirée is a unique and memorable event, best described as a high-end yacht hop and dinner followed by a waterway cruise. The event brings celebrity guests, boating enthusiasts, and members of the marine industry together with the local community. This chic, yet casual affair is an exciting alternative to traditional fundraising events. Guests will step aboard stunning yachts, enjoy hors d’oeuvres, open bar, and dinner from local hot-spots with local celebrities.

Following dinner, all will gather for a festive cruise on the intracoastal, where guests will enjoy dessert, dancing, and live entertainment under the stars!

Bahia Mar Marina and CDTC invite you to a special evening with celebrity guests, yachting enthusiasts, the Board of Directors at CDTC, and a Host Committee of community leaders. The event will generate new friends and funds for Children’s Diagnostic & Treatment Center (CDTC). As one of Broward County’s largest children’s agencies, it provides an array of services, including medical care to more than 11,000 infants, children, youth, and families with special healthcare needs each year.

WHAT’S INVOLVED?

  • The Waterway Soirée will host a minimum of 10 private yachts, each over 70’ in length.
  • “Fun”draising – Each yacht owner contributes $15,000 and is invited to host up to 20 guests on board.
  • Yacht Hop – Yachts will be docked along the Bahia Mar Marina “D-Dock” where complimentary hors d’oeuvres and drinks will be served.
  • Celebrity Match Up – The vessel with the most fundraised dollars will have their first pick of a Celebrity Guest to join them for a relaxed dinner aboard their yacht.
  • Dine – Yacht owners can either provide dinner to their guests, or choose from a fine selection of participating restaurants to cater aboard their boat from a tapas style menu.
  • Waterway Cruise – Following dinner, all guests convene aboard the Grand Floridian, a brand new 400 passenger luxury yacht. This festive cruise is the perfect culmination to a fabulous evening. Guests will enjoy live entertainment, drinks, dancing, and delicious desserts while cruising along the Intracoastal Waterway.
